Dubai’s First-Time Home Buyer (FTHB) Programme continues to gain strong momentum, with more developers joining the initiative and expanding property choices for residents and investors ahead of new project launches.
Launched by the Dubai Land Department in collaboration with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the programme has already demonstrated significant market impact. Within just six months, over 2,000 residents have successfully purchased their first homes, generating Dh3.25 billion in residential sales.
To date, more than 41,000 residents have registered for the scheme. Notably, nearly 49 per cent of these buyers have lived in Dubai for over five years, highlighting a growing shift among long-term residents from renting to owning homes.
Developers such as Samana Developers and Qube Development have recently joined the programme, offering a range of incentives. These include priority access to selected units, discounts of up to two per cent, flexible payment plans, and waived administrative fees.
Samana Developers will allocate up to 10 per cent of its inventory for first-time buyers across projects in Arjan, Dubai Production City, and Dubai South. The company noted a growing trend among residents seeking long-term roots in the city, supported by data showing that 23 per cent of new investors in 2025 were UAE residents.
Meanwhile, Qube Development has committed to reserving units in upcoming launches for eligible buyers, along with exclusive pricing and additional benefits aimed at improving accessibility and confidence among first-time purchasers.
Other major developers, including Emaar Properties, Damac Properties, Nakheel, Binghatti Developers, Danube Properties, and Azizi Developments, have also enrolled in the initiative, further strengthening its reach and appeal.
The continued expansion of the programme reflects Dubai’s broader vision to encourage long-term residency, promote homeownership, and build a more stable and inclusive property market.
