Millions of visitors from around the world are drawn to Dubai’s Global Village each year, and the upcoming edition is set to be even more thrilling for guests. Opening on Wednesday, October 16, this popular outdoor attraction has introduced new pavilions and enhanced experiences for its visitors.
Since its inception in 1997 with a handful of retail kiosks, Global Village has evolved into a must-visit destination during Dubai’s outdoor season. This year’s edition will showcase over 90 cultures through 30 pavilions, offering more than 175 rides, games, and attractions. Here’s a glimpse of what you can look forward to experiencing.
Explore the world in one day
Global Village provides a one-of-a-kind chance to embark on a global journey without even leaving Dubai. Visitors can indulge in Yemeni honey, browse through Iranian and Afghan carpets, and purchase Moroccan argan oil, Spanish jewelry, and Thai dried fruits. Each pavilion, whether it be from Egypt, Italy, Vietnam, or Oman, showcases the unique culture and products of their respective countries right in the heart of Dubai.
In addition to the shopping experience, visitors can also enjoy live performances by talented musicians and entertainers from all corners of the world. For those seeking thrills, there are Carnaval rides to enjoy. And for those with a taste for the bizarre, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium offers a collection of fascinating artifacts, visual oddities, and interactive exhibits that are sure to captivate and entertain.
What is new at Global Village this season?
- Explore New Pavilions
This season, Global Village is proud to introduce three exciting new pavilions – Jordan, Iraq, and a combined Sri Lanka and Bangladesh pavilion, bringing the total to 30. Each pavilion offers a unique opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the rich heritage of these countries. From bustling bazaars to mouth-watering traditional dishes, and exquisite artistry and craftsmanship, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
- Indulge in the ‘Restaurant Plaza’
With over 200 dining outlets to choose from, Global Village is a food lover’s paradise. This season, we are thrilled to unveil the all-new Restaurant Plaza, located near the Carnaval area. Featuring 11 two-storey restaurants, the plaza offers stunning panoramic views of the entire venue, creating a dining experience like no other.
- Experience the Revamped Global Village Markets
This year, our beloved Railway Market, Floating Market, and Fiesta Street have undergone a stunning transformation. With fresh new designs, these markets now offer a more picturesque and immersive experience for visitors. Fiesta Street now boasts double-storey kiosks, providing ample space for dining and shopping, making it a must-visit destination at Global Village.

Ticket prices for this season are as follows:
– Dh25 for a weekday ticket (valid from Sunday to Thursday, excluding public holidays).
– Dh30 for a ticket valid on any day.
– Entry is free for children under three, senior citizens, and People of Determination.

Individual attraction tickets
Certain attractions may require a separate ticket, which can be purchased on-site. For added convenience, visitors can opt for a ‘Wonder Pass’ that grants access to extra experiences such as the Stunt Show, Carnaval, or Ripley’s Believe It or Not! The Wonder Pass is available at prices ranging from Dh150 to Dh1,050, depending on the attractions you wish to explore.

- Sunday to Wednesday: 4 pm to 12 am
• Thursday to Saturday: 4 pm to 1 am
Tuesdays, except public holidays, are designated for women, children, and families to enjoy Global Village. The park will open at 6 pm on its opening day.
