A major step forward for one of the emirate’s most ambitious architectural projects, Emaar founder Mohamed Alabbar has revealed that the tender for the building of Dubai Creek Tower will be released within the next three months.
Speaking at the Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) 2026, which is hosted by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai, Alabbar stated that the tower’s design has undergone multiple revisions, leading to what he called a “beautiful” new concept.
He stated that the project’s visual identity and aesthetic appeal are the main emphasis of the present development phase.
Since its initial unveiling as a potential worldwide landmark, Dubai Creek Tower has been the focal point of the master development of Dubai Creek Harbour. Although work on the skyscraper has been put on hold in recent years, Emaar intends to reposition it as a key component of Dubai’s upcoming urban development.
Alabbar stated that the renovation represents a move toward a more sophisticated architectural expression, in line with Dubai’s larger emphasis on iconic, experience-driven destinations, but he did not provide any other technical information.
Leading international contractors are anticipated to show interest in the tender release, especially as large-scale initiatives pick up speed around the region. The project’s resuscitation, according to industry observers, also demonstrates rising investor confidence in Dubai’s long-term real estate and tourist fundamentals.
When finished, Dubai Creek Tower is anticipated to become a popular destination in the waterfront area, enhancing the emirate’s standing for audacious, forward-thinking architecture.
