In 2025, Dubai South welcomed 653 new firms, increasing the total number of active businesses to over 4,200 while maintaining a 90% retention rate among its current clientele.
Additionally, the company reported a 65 percent growth in new business licenses issued, which is indicative of expanding demand within its ecosystem and ongoing investor confidence.
The Pulse Beachfront, which consists of 800 residential apartments, was successfully completed by Dubai South Properties. In South Bay and South Living Tower, about 1,300 units are expected to be turned over by 2026.
A number of significant projects, including as HAYAT by Dubai South, Beachfront Gates, and South Square, were introduced in 2025 in response to the increasing demand; all of these projects attracted a lot of attention from the market and sold out.
South Bay Mall, a 200,000-square-foot retail and lifestyle attraction, was also unveiled by Dubai South Properties towards the end of the year. With a carefully chosen selection of dining, shopping, and wellness options, the mall will further improve The Residential District.
The Logistics District had again another prosperous year, solidifying its position as a major player in the logistics industry in the United Arab Emirates. Expeditors, a Ford distribution center, and the DHL Innovation Center were among the major facilities that were opened. Simultaneously, key partnerships were struck with international companies like DHL and UPS, enabling them to expand their operations at Dubai South through cutting-edge facilities.
New multi-user facilities that provide strategically placed infrastructure in line with local and international market demands were introduced to assist SMEs. As the UAE’s e-commerce industry reached AED32.3 billion in 2024, according to the most recent e-commerce research, EZDubai, the specialized e-commerce zone, continued to play a crucial role in supporting the UAE and regional e-commerce ecosystem.
Additionally, the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub finished 2025 with noteworthy accomplishments. Leading aviation companies, such as Avia Solutions Group, the biggest ACMI provider in the world, Atherion Aerospace, UUDS, Tariq Al Futtaim, and Al Burj Holding, forged strategic relationships. Satys, Tim Aerospace, and RH Aero were among the buildings that were officially opened during the year, and GE announced the start of construction on a brand-new, custom-built facility at the hub.
The hub announced the opening of significant new facilities, such as a Sky meet Complex and The VIP Terminal Boulevard, a cutting-edge project intended to draw top aviation firms and upscale retailers from all over the world, to further meet the expanding demand for aviation services.
