According to recent research, Jumeirah, Al Barsha, Arabian Ranches, Al Thanyah, and Umm Suqeim have the greatest proportion of wealthy residents in Dubai.
Jumeirah First and Al Barsha are home to 8,685 and 8,155 high-net-worth individuals, respectively, according to an analysis by the US-based Webster Pacific. Jumeirah (7,022), Arabian Ranches (3,728), Al Thanyah (3,542), Umm Suqeim (2,960), Nakhlat Al Jumeirah (2,573), Marsa Dubai (2,537), Al Satwa (2,446), and Umm al Sheif (2,421).
As of June 2022, there were 67,900 millionaires living in Dubai, of which 35% were residents of Jumeirah First, Al Barsha, and Jumeirah.
“Jumeirah is distinguished by its upscale, suburban feel and its proximity to both the sea and Downtown. Al Barsha is ideal for wealthy families due to the abundance of schools, such as Gems, Dubai American Academy, and King’s School, along with access to elevated shopping at Galleria Mall Al Barsha,” the report said.
Millionaires come to the more remote communities of Arabian Ranches and Al Thanyah for their abundance of world-class golf clubs and equestrian facilities.
Due to the effective management of the Covid-19 outbreak, which increased confidence among the world’s elites in the emirate’s healthcare industry and the standard of living it offers people, Dubai has seen an influx of millionaires and billionaires over the past year. Earlier this year, the emirate’s population reached 3.5 million for the first time ever.
According to a Henley Global Citizens Report published in June, the UAE will surpass the US this year as the country with the greatest concentration of millionaires worldwide. In comparison to other prominent nations including Australia, Singapore, Israel, Switzerland, the USA, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, and India, it was predicted that 4,000 millionaires will move to the UAE by 2022.
The UAE is home to 45 billionaires, with a combined wealth of $181 billion (Dh664 billion), according to Altrata’s Billionaire Census 2022 report, 38 of whom are residents of Dubai.
The Webster Pacific research showed that the other neighborhoods where the majority of Dubai’s wealthy people reside are Palm Jumeirah, Al Barari, Dubai Hills, Al Wasl, and Zabeel. The lowest concentration of high net worth persons may be found in International City, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Al Quoz.
