Following the success of their initial partnership, UAE developer Binghatti and multinational automaker Mercedes-Benz have teamed together to pursue a much bigger ambition that pushes the limits of premium real estate and automotive innovation.
The world’s first Mercedes-Benz branded city and the developer’s first master-planned community, Mercedes-Benz Places | Binghatti City, a massive AED 30 billion ($8.2 billion) development spanning more than 10 million square feet in Nad Al Sheba, was officially unveiled, marking the return of their partnership.
Each of the three stages of the masterplan’s delivery will reveal a different aspect of this citywide vision. properties in the towers range in size from studios to three-bedroom apartments; MercedesBenz’s newest design, the Vision Iconic tower, also has a few of four and five-bedroom properties.
One of the most ambitious residential masterplans in the area is brought to life by the development’s famous spiraling signature tower, which serves as its focal point.
One of the most spectacular moments in Dubai’s real estate market was the big opening at Meydan.
The event, which was hosted by Hollywood star Terry Crews, attracted 25,000 people, the most at any Binghatti event to date. The program revolved around two major reveal moments, and a stunning drone show lit up the skyline.
The first revelation was Vision Iconic’s exclusive Middle East exhibition, which embodied the brand’s essence and was inspired by the heyday of 1930s automotive design.
Legendary Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli gave a performance to kick off the big opening, creating a memorable atmosphere for the evening.
The planned community, a completely new urban neighborhood made up of twelve architecturally coordinated skyscrapers, was subsequently revealed in the second reveal.
The Meydan skyline was illuminated by a sweeping drone show, the twelve-tower formation’s outline was traced by a laser projection across Nad Al Sheba, and the night was crowned with a gigantic fireworks finale that symbolized the vision’s scope and ambition.
The Grand Promenade, a large green space envisioned as a haven of sustainability and environmental awareness, is at the center of the construction.
Water features, discovery zones, shaded woods, art pavilions, active circuits, and expansive hills are all part of its 12 surprising moments and carefully chosen experiences.
Residents will have access to a network of opulent indoor facilities, 12 exclusive sports clubs, and an elevated system of premium branded amenities surrounding the park, guaranteeing an unparalleled lifestyle across the entire neighborhood.
Chairman Muhammad Binghatti emphasized the significance of this moment, noting that both brands have returned “not only to build upon the success of their first collaboration, but to imagine what the future of living can become when automotive ingenuity and architectural innovation converge at a city scale.”
Mathias Geisen, Member of the Board of Management, Mercedes-Benz Group AG, Sales & Customer Experience affirmed that “This masterplan represents the purest expression of the brand’s design philosophy, extending our DNA from the automobile into a living environment crafted with technical precision.”
Mercedes-Benz Places | Binghatti City brings in a new era in which mobility, architecture, technology, and design all work together in a world constructed beyond the future.
