How long is a UAE tourist visa for?
You may stay in the UAE for 30 or 90 days, depending on the length of your visa. The five-year multiple entry tourist visa, which has its own restrictions and limitations on how long you can stay in the UAE for each visit, was also recently announced by the UAE.

Can one extend their stay in the UAE?
The 30-day or 90-day tourist visa may be extended twice for an additional 30-day period. In other words, if you had a 30-day visa and were in the UAE, you could extend it twice, giving you the option of a total stay of 90 days, which would include the 30 days on your initial visa and two extensions of 30 days each.

Where does one apply for the extension?
You have a few alternatives when requesting a tourist visa extension:
1. Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP)
By following these steps, you can submit an online request for an extension on the ICP website:
– Go to onArrivalVisaDashboard at smartservices.icp.gov.ae/echannels/web/client/guest/index.html.
– You have three options for entering your tourist visa data when applying to extend your visa:
- Passport information
- Visa file number – you can find the visa file number on your tourist e-visa document.
- Unified number (UID)
– Make the payment in accordance with the extension you requested.
– If your request is granted, you will receive an email letting you know.
2. Amer center
You can go to an Amer center, which handles all visa requests in Dubai if your visa was issued there. Along with your passport, you would need to bring a copy of your original visa. Your application will be processed once the payment has been received.
3. Typing center
Additionally, a number of typing facilities registered to handle visa applications are located in the UAE. Any of these centers will accept your application for a visa extension.
4. Travel agency
A travel and tourism company in the UAE is where you may also submit an application for the extension.
In the UAE, you can do it from any travel agent. The visa-issuing organization need not be used by the visitor.
When should one extend their tourist visa?
You must extend your current tourist visa before it expires if you intend to do so. In the UAE, you will be fined for overstaying if you don’t do this. To prevent this, you should verify the tourist visa’s expiration date on your entry permit.
Candidates must submit their requests for an extension at least seven days before the deadline.
