A multibillion-dollar integrated resort will be built on Ras Al Khaimah’s man-made Al Marjan Island.
Casino giant Wynn Resorts will build its first development in the Mena region with this new project. Upon its completion in 2026, the multi-purpose integrated resort will be the largest foreign direct investment in Ras Al Khaimah in history.
This planned destination will include a luxury hotel with more than 1,000 rooms, a shopping mall, a convention center, a spa, more than ten restaurants, lounges, entertainment options, and a gaming area.
Currently, the new resort is in the early stages of design and will apply for an integrated resort license from Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA).
Al Marjan has four islands and more than 7,8km of beaches and 23km of waterfront, which are home to hotels and residential developments.
It covers an area of 2.7 million square meters of reclaimed land that extends into the Arabian Gulf.
A new integrated resort on one of the “exclusive islands” covers an area of almost 250,000 square meters. The resort has sandy beaches and a marina.
Wynn Resorts is developing the first beach resort in the world.
By accelerating tourism, creating jobs, and stimulating the growth of related sectors, it will be the largest project of its kind in the Emirate’s hospitality sector.
The new integrated resort highlights the fast-growing recognition of Ras Al Khaimah as a leading investment destination for high-quality hospitality projects, according to Abdulla Al Abdooli, CEO of Marjan.

Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority will be applying for an integrated resort license for the new resort which is currently in the initial stages of design and development.
