The Le Royal Meridian Beach Resort & Spa hotel in Dubai Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) is decided to be the home of the Construction Week Dispute Resolution Question Time Dubai event for this year as we are gradually welcoming back on-ground events.
This is going to be held on 17 February from 5 pm, the Dispute Resolution Question Time Dubai is solely an annual conference in which all the top legal experts and leading contractors in the region joins for an open discussion in order to talk about the current state of dispute resolution in construction.
The plan for this year’s event focuses on how technology has been accelerated for the late payment resolution, contract claims, arbitration options, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms as we are getting into a more digitally driven world.
The board of legal experts will inspect how the technology is providing efficient, affordable, and generally reliable tools for virtual hearings and also either it is having a positive impact on the construction dispute landscape.
While virtual hearings have possibly many pros counting potentially faster resolution of disputes, there will also be a debate on the challenges for virtual technology in dispute resolution.
