Around 10,000 new real estate broker licenses are expected to be issued in Dubai in 2024, which would be a 100% increase from the 5,000 licenses that were issued in 2018 and an unprecedented level.
The real estate consultancy VVS Estate, situated in Dubai, reports that the last few years have seen a steady increase in the number of new licenses issued: 6,000 in 2019; a slight decline in 2020 as a result of the pandemic; 7,000 in 2021; 7,500 in 2022; and roughly 8,000 in 2023. This increase, which attracted a record number of brokers in 2024, is evidence of the flood of investors and the thriving real estate market in Dubai.
