The goal is to move beyond ‘firefighting’ supply chain disruptions and instead build a resilient system that can support steady economic growth. Logistics assets are now being viewed as the ‘arteries’ of the economy, attracting institutional backing that seeks stable, long-duration yields.

Dubai’s DP World and its various free zones have already perfected the model of seamless trade that South Africa is currently striving toward.
