The Royal Oman Police announced on March 14 that more than 100 nations might enter Oman without a visa and remain there for up to 14 days.

While you can be qualified for entry into Oman without a visa, you must make sure that you meet certain standards.
The exemption of the visa requirement is contingent upon a number of conditions, including:
- A prior and confirmed hotel booking
- Oman’s health insurance
- A round-trip ticket
- Your passport must be valid for at least six months
Visa on arrival for Indian tourists
Indian travelers who have a valid entrance visa from one of the following nations may obtain an Oman visa upon arrival:
- US
• Canada
• United Kingdom
• Schengen countries
• Japan
Some GCC residents are already eligible for visa on arrival
Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nationals who are living abroad and working in a vocation that has been authorized by the Royal Oman Police may get a visa upon arrival.
Can one extend my stay in Oman?
If you didn’t need a visa to enter Oman, you can extend your stay by requesting one through the ROP’s eVisa portal at https://evisa.rop.gov.om/. Your one-month visa extension will cost OMR20 (Dh190).
During a year, you can also apply for a visa with numerous entries as long as each visit doesn’t last longer than a month.
