At 160 meters high, the mixed-use Infinity Tower has seen more than 70% of its construction completed, according to Infinity Towers for Urban Development. This substantial advancement exceeds the timetable established by the Administrative Capital for Urban Development. This significant event coincides with the start of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi’s second term in office and the first phase of the New Administrative Capital (NAC).
Infinity Tower, which stands in the center of the NAC’s Central Business District (CBD), is a shining example of sustainability and modernity.
Founder and Managing Director Assaad Salama disclosed that the tower’s design was a result of cooperation with the well-known Canadian company NORR Group. This collaboration has produced a remarkable design that distinguishes Infinity Tower as a pioneering instance of sustainable architecture in Egypt.
To further solidify the project’s standing as a model of sustainable architecture, the company also obtained the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) platinum certificate.
The CEO of the tower, Hady Fathy, emphasized the commercial mall, which is over 11,000 square meters in size and houses a variety of businesses, eateries, and banks, all of which have a unique perspective of the famous building. He highlighted how adaptable the tower is, with a range of conference rooms and co-working spaces that are intended to be as functional as possible for both owners and tenants.
By year’s end, the first phase of Infinity Tower is expected to be finished; trial operations will start in the middle of 2025, and full operations will start in the first half of 2026.
The vast floor area of Infinity Tower, which is supported by more than 18 high-speed elevators and reaches 1,560 sqm per level without columns, is one of its most notable features. This project is the first to introduce state-of-the-art materials and specifications to Egypt. The tower also has a five-story underground garage that can accommodate 900 cars, which is a unique idea in the area.
