In a major step toward improving government service efficiency, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai has signed a strategic agreement with the Dubai Land Department to integrate key real estate-linked residency services into one unified digital system.
The initiative aims to simplify procedures for residents, property owners, and investors by enabling them to complete residency-related property applications through a single platform rather than navigating multiple government channels.
As part of the integration, three major residency services—Golden Residency, Retiree Residency, and Property Residency—will now be processed through the GDRFA Dubai system. This move is expected to significantly reduce waiting times, improve coordination between departments, and enable faster decision-making through enhanced data sharing.
Officials noted that the unified system will streamline service delivery while ensuring a smoother and more reliable user experience. The initiative also supports Dubai’s broader efforts to enhance digital governance and respond efficiently to rising demand in the emirate’s expanding real estate sector 🏙️.
Authorities believe the integration will further strengthen confidence in Dubai’s property market by linking long-term residency opportunities with property ownership. This approach is expected to provide greater stability for investors and reinforce the emirate’s attractiveness as a preferred destination for living and investment.
The collaboration aligns with the objectives of Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which focuses on accelerating economic growth and positioning Dubai among the world’s leading global cities. By connecting real estate and residency services, the initiative supports a more responsive ecosystem that encourages investment, improves service standards, and enhances overall quality of life for residents 🚀.
Dubai continues to strengthen coordination between government entities through advanced digital solutions, reinforcing its position as a global hub for innovation, real estate investment, and business growth.
