You can transfer credit from your Etisalat phone to friends or family members who are also using the same network if you have a postpaid or prepaid mobile phone from the Etisalat firm. The requirement is that both the transferor and the transferee hold the Etisalat mobile plan. You can transfer your Etisalat balance using a few different methods, including the mobile app and mobile code numbers. The methods for transferring credit and the fees involved are covered in this article.

How to transfer the balance Etisalat mobile?

How is Etisalat balance transferred? Learn how to use the Etisalat transfer credit code to transfer credit to a different phone:

Transfer credit through Mobile keypad numbers

Even without installing the app, you can transfer money between Etisalat accounts using the numbers on your smartphone keypad. Credit transfer does not necessitate any additional registration. Credit transfers from one Etisalat to another Etisalat are made available if a consumer owns a pre-paid or postpaid Etisalat mobile device.

Type *100*mobilenumber*amount# you want to transfer on your phone’s keypad.

For example, to send AED 5, all you need to do is dial *100*05XXXXXXX*5#.

You will be requested to provide confirmation for your transfer after you have transferred the credit to another Etisalat client. You must express your acceptance of the Etisalat message. You will be requested to hit numbers 1 and 2 to confirm and cancel the transfer process, respectively. Choose option 1, and your transfer will be finished.

Both pre-paid and postpaid credit transfers follow the same procedure.

  • The minimum credit transfer for postpaid accounts is AED 2, while the daily maximum credit transfer is AED 150. Credit transfers have a monthly threshold cap. AED 500 is the maximum amount of credit that may be transferred monthly for postpaid customers.
  • For users of prepaid accounts, the minimum transfer credit amount is AED 2, while the daily maximum transfer credit amount is AED 150. The maximum monthly transferable amount for prepaid users is AED 1500.

Etisalat Transfer Fee

Customers of Etisalat’s prepaid and postpaid plans must pay a transfer credit fee. The price is 5.25 percent. A 5% Value Added Tax is also included (VAT). The costs will be taken out of the sender’s payment as a payment charge.

For example, suppose customer “A” of Etisalat sent customer “B” a transfer of AED 10. Then customer A will have the sum of AED 10.5 (AED 10 + AED 0.5) taken from their account. Customer B will receive a payment of AED 10 from the receiver.

Etisalat International Credit Transfer

Customers of Etisalat have the option to transfer credit back to their native nation. A user with a prepaid account with Etisalat can utilize their unused credit to recharge any prepaid account in their native country.

Either the My Etisalat UAE app or texting the international number to 1700 can be used to transfer international credit.

For example, to transfer credit, the sender must enter the code 9198XXXXXXX to 1700. (this is free). Once the prepaid number has been sent to 1700, follow the instructions to get the message in local currency. Before confirming, check the associated fees in AED. The recipient will receive the credit right away with no further fees. An SMS message about the transaction will also be delivered.

A consumer must either have a sufficient balance on their wasel account or a valid postpaid account in order to complete this international credit transfer transaction. Prepaid accounts on Etisalat are known as Wasel accounts.

These benefits make international credit transfers useful:

Sending a gift of air time gives ex-pats the certainty that they may stay in touch with their family members.

While visiting the nation, tourists and business visitors can maintain active international prepaid accounts and stay in touch with their family members and business colleagues.

The airtime will be credited to the receivers’ accounts together with the message; they don’t need to go to any outlets to top it off.

International credit transfers facilitate quick cross-border transfers.

Request

A customer with an Etisalat prepaid account may ask other customers for credit. By dialing *107*05mobilenumber*amountofcreditrequest# and following the prompts, you can activate this service. The consumer from whom you have requested credit will receive a communication from you informing them of your request. The directions for completing the transaction are also included in this communication. There are two opportunities every day to use this service, which is free. Only prepaid users are eligible for this service.

Etisalat Data Balance Transfer

Customers of Etisalat can transfer their data in addition to their balance.

You can exchange data starting at 100 MB minimum.

Customers with prepaid plans can transfer an unlimited amount of data, but postpaid customers are limited to 5GB per transaction.

Each month, only five transfers are permitted.

Etisalat charges a data transfer fee of AED 3 for every 100MB.

How to Transfer Data from Etisalat to Etisalat?

  • Through Etisalat App
  • Dial #100*ReceiverNumber*DataInMB#. Example, dial #100*05XXXXXXXX*2000# to transfer 2GB data
  • Or Dial #100# and follow the instructions
