The UAE continues to solidify its global leadership in high-rise development, driven by substantial private investment in ambitious projects. Data from Skyscraper Center in July 2026 reveals that six of the world’s 20 tallest buildings currently under construction are located in Dubai, reinforcing the emirate’s position as the Middle East’s foremost skyscraper capital.
This concentrated development highlights Dubai’s continued investment focus on luxury real estate and tourism infrastructure. All ten of the tallest skyscrapers presently under construction across the UAE are situated within Dubai, underscoring the emirate’s dominant role in the nation’s large-scale urban expansion.
Looking ahead, Dubai is anticipated to introduce several new supertall skyscrapers, defined as exceeding 500 meters in height, by the close of the decade. This wave of developments is set to further extend Dubai’s lead as the city with the largest concentration of ultra-tall buildings globally, outside of China.
Among the prominent projects contributing to this architectural skyline are several notable towers. The Tiger Sky Tower, rising to 532 meters in Business Bay, is a mixed-use supertall development by a leading developer. It is planned to feature luxury apartments, penthouses, a hotel, and unique attractions like a rainforest and an infinity pool. In Dubai Marina, the Six Senses Residences Dubai Marina, developed by Select Group and Six Senses, will reach 517 meters, offering a wellness-focused luxury residential experience across more than 120 floors with panoramic Gulf views.
Another significant addition to Dubai Marina’s skyline is the Franck Muller Aeternitas Tower. Standing at 450 meters, this project by a local firm is poised to become the world’s tallest branded residential clock tower, developed in partnership with Swiss luxury watchmaker Franck Muller. Business Bay will also host the Binghatti Skyblade, a 357-meter slender residential skyscraper by Binghatti Developers, known for its signature angular architecture.
Other key developments include the Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai in Downtown Dubai, a 350-meter mixed-use luxury hotel and branded residences project by a leading developer and Trump Organization. Nearby, the Rixos Financial Center Road Dubai Residences, reaching 348 meters by a local firm, will offer branded luxury residences operated under the Rixos hospitality brand. Further shaping Dubai’s future skyline are projects like the 595-meter Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences in Business Bay, the 131-storey Burj Azizi, and the Downtown Tower (part of the Mercedes-Benz Places by Binghatti). These projects collectively signify the UAE’s unwavering ambition in pushing architectural boundaries and cementing its status as a hub for record-breaking developments.
