The Dubai Water Canal stretches boldly for 3.2 kilometers, cutting through Dubai’s main thoroughfare, the Sheikh Zayed Road. Safa Park is bisected by the canal, which is approximately 80 meters wide and spans 120 meters. The canal then plunges into residential Jumeirah. Then, it flows into the Arabian Gulf to complete its journey. There are a number of recreational activities to enjoy along the 12-kilometer-long Marais Business Bay Promenade that runs along the Dubai Canal.
There are also five pedestrian bridges, three of which cross the Canal. Visitors are able to easily cross over and see the breathtaking views from the top of the bridge.
The Dubai Canal extends from Deira Creek and is divided into three networks: the Water Network, the Green Network, and the Public Realm.
THE WATER NETWORK
Three water bodies make up the canal’s water network. Business Bay is connected to the Arabian Gulf by the Dubai Canal, which stretches for 2.9 kilometers. This coastline of the Arabian Gulf has beautiful beaches. Crystal Lagoon is the final part of the canal at Safa Park.

Footbridges along Dubai’s Water Canal are amazing
It is the perfect place for walkers. Those who come here by foot can take advantage of the many amenities offered. Across the canal, there are 5 footbridges. This includes the S-shaped Tolerance Bridge, which is over 200 meters long.
These footbridges are all unique and feature superb design. It hangs from two massive Y-shaped piers of 120 meters each. The bridge floor is supported by cables attached to the piers. The third bridge is shaped like a twisted-column of squares.

Abras are ancient Emirati modes of transportation. The United Arab Emirates’ culture is represented by it, since Emiratis have used it for generations. Thus, tourists will have an exciting experience. Abra tours also start and end at Dubai Festival City Mall. Dubai Canal Cruise’s route, however, is different. The canal passes through Ras Al Khor Sanctuary, Business Bay, St. Regis, and the Westin Hotels, Burj Khalifa, the Bridge over Business Bay, and the Sheikh Zayed Road Waterfall Bridge. Dubai Water Canal Cruise Timings
The Dubai water canal is open 24 hours a day and there is a daily ferry service from Jaddaf Marine Station at 10 a.m., 12 a.m., and 5 pm. You can see the Dubai water canal waterfall between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
