This air-conditioned (AC) abra, operated by Dubai’s esteemed Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), offers a delightful and comfortable experience.

The fares for the Dubai Water Bus vary depending on your chosen route, ranging from Dh3 to Dh11 for a single trip. With such flexibility, you can select the most suitable option for your journey.

The AC abra efficiently transports passengers between five picturesque stops within the Dubai Marina area. These stops include the Marina Terrace, Marina Walk, Dubai Marina Mall, Marina Promenade, and the mesmerizing Bluewaters Island. Each stop offers its own unique charm and attractions, ensuring a memorable experience for all.

To ensure a seamless and hassle-free journey, you have the convenience of booking your tickets in advance through the RTA website – rta.ae. Alternatively, you can also purchase your tickets in person at any RTA Marine Transport Station.

Individuals with disabilities and children under the age of five are eligible for complimentary travel.

Dubai Marina Walk to Marina Terrace (BM1)

Cost: Dh3

• Monday – Thursday: 4.08 pm – 10.56 pm
• Friday: 4.08 pm – 11.54 pm
• Saturday – Sunday: 4.08 pm – 11.52 pm

Dubai Marina Mall 1 to Marina Promenade (BM1)

Cost: Dh3

Timings
• Monday – Thursday: 4.11 pm – 10.50 pm
• Friday: 4.11 pm – 10.48 pm
• Saturday – Sunday: 4.11 pm – 10.45 pm

Dubai Marina Walk to Dubai Marina Mall 1 (BM1)

Cost: Dh5

Timings:
• Monday – Thursday: 12 pm – 11.11 pm
• Friday – Sunday: 12 pm – 12.11 am

Marina Promenade to Marine Terrace (BM1)

Cost: Dh11

Timings:
• Monday – Thursday: 4.08 pm – 10.32 pm

This pass grants you the freedom to embark on unlimited trips between numerous stations for just Dh25. With this convenient option, you can effortlessly hop on and off at any desired location within the Dubai Marina vicinity.

Where to buy RTA marine transport tickets:

  • Online – marine.rta.ae
    • In-person – at the Marine Transport Station. You can pay for the tickets with cash, nol card or a credit/debit card.

How to buy Dubai Water Bus tickets online?

You can easily complete these steps in just a few minutes. Here’s a simple guide to help you through the process:

  1. Start by visiting the official website marine.rta.ae.
    2. Enter your trip details, such as selecting ‘Dubai Marina’ as your desired area. Then, choose ‘Abra’ as your preferred mode of transport. Finally, pick your route from the drop-down menu.

If you plan on exploring all the routes, simply select ‘All Routes (One Day Pass)’ as your route option.

For those heading to Bluewaters Island, opt for the ‘Water Taxi’ as your mode of transport. Then, select ‘Dubai Marina Mall to Bluewaters Island’ as your specific route.

  • Once you’ve entered all the necessary information, click on the ‘Search’ button.
  • From the available schedule, choose the date and time that suits your travel plans.
  • Indicate the number of passengers accompanying you. The system will then display the price for a single-trip ticket.
  • To proceed, click on ‘Add to basket’.
  • Provide your personal details, including your full name, email address, and mobile number.
  • Afterward, confirm your ticket selection and make the payment online using your debit or credit card.

Once the payment is successfully processed, you will receive a digital ticket containing a Quick Response (QR) code. This code will be scanned by an RTA Marine Transport employee before you board the Dubai Water Bus.

Remember to arrive at the station at least five minutes before your scheduled trip time to ensure a smooth journey.
