How to change vehicle color in Dubai?
You can seek a color change in Dubai by submitting an application to the Dubai Police. The steps are as follows:
- Go to http://www.dubaipolice.gov.ae to access the Dubai Police website. There is a panel of settings at the bottom of the screen. After clicking ‘Services,’ scroll down and choose ‘Traffic Services’.
- Choose the option to “Change Vehicle Color” next.
- Click the ‘Access Service’ button.
- Next, fill in the form with the following details:
- Emirates ID
- Plate Number
- Category – Private
- Car code
- Select the colour:
- Current Colour
- New Colour
- Second new colour (optional)
- Enter contact details:
- Confirm Email
- Upload pictures of your current vehicle:
- Front View
- Back View
- Left View
- Right View
- Classic View
- Then click “Submit.”
- Pay the service fee online via debit/credit card.
- After that, you’ll get a transaction number so you can keep track of your application.
You will receive the approval through email at the registered email address you provided after your request has been granted.

Abu Dhabi
