Are you interested in exploring some of Dubai’s renowned outdoor attractions before they close for the summer season? Eid Al Fitr presents the perfect opportunity to visit these must-see destinations before they temporarily shut down until their reopening in September or October.

1. Global Village – closes on April 28, 2024

Global Village

This month marks the conclusion of the 28th season of Global Village, one of the UAE’s most renowned outdoor attractions. Since opening its doors six months ago in October 2023, visitors have had the opportunity to immerse themselves in a world of country pavilions, street food, entertainment shows, and restaurants. The weekly fireworks display and the Global Village Carnaval, featuring over 195 rides, games, and attractions, have been highlights of this season.

Tickets:

Tickets can be purchased at the venue, or for a 10% discount, they can be bought online through the Global Village website at www.globalvillage.ae.

– Any day tickets – Dh30 (Dh27 online)

– Weekday tickets – Dh25 (Dh22.50 online)

Timings – from 4 pm to 2 am during the Eid Al Fitr holidays.

Location –

The attraction is situated on Mohamed Bin Zayed Road (E311), nestled between the luxurious Arabian Ranches residential development and the thrilling IMG Worlds of Adventure theme park.

For those looking to visit Global Village using public transportation, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) offers direct bus routes to this popular family destination. Below are the bus routes specifically designated for Global Village within Dubai:

  1. Route 102 – From Al Rashidiya Bus Station Gate 5 in Rashidiya
  2. Route 103 – From Union Square Bus Station in Deira
  3. Route 104 – From Al Ghubaiba Bus Station in Al Fahidi
  4. Route 106 – From the Mall of the Emirates Metro Station
  5. Route 107 – From Al Nahda (behind Sahara Centre)

2. Dubai Miracle Garden – closes on June 2, 2024

Dubai Miracle Garden - closes on June 2, 2024

In just two months, the 12th season of Dubai Miracle Garden, the world’s largest natural flower garden, will come to a close. This magnificent park is home to over 150 million flowers and a stunning array of 120 plant varieties, all spread across a vast 72,000 square meters. The park is a true oasis of beauty, with sculptures adorned in vibrant blooms at every turn.

Among the many attractions at Dubai Miracle Garden, one of the most famous is the Guinness World Record-breaking floral sculpture in the shape of an Emirates Airbus A380. This incredible piece is a testament to the artistry and creativity that can be found throughout the park. Another must-see is the 18-meter tall sculpture of Mickey Mouse, crafted from an impressive 100,000 plants and flowers. These record-breaking attractions are just a glimpse of the wonders that await visitors at Dubai Miracle Garden.

Tickets:

– Dh95 for individuals above 12 years old.
– Dh80 for children from three to 12 years old.
– Free for children below three years old and People of Determination. There is also a 50 percent discount on ticket fares for one adult accompanying the Person of Determination.

Timings – Monday to Friday from 9 am to 9 pm and 9 am to 10 pm on weekends.

Location – Dubai Miracle Garden is in Al Barsha South, Street 3 in Dubailand, at the cross-section of Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road (E311) and Umm Suqeim Road (D63).

To reach Dubai Miracle Garden using public transportation, start by taking the Metro to the Mall of the Emirates (MOE) Metro Station. From there, you can catch bus route 105 to Dubai Miracle Garden.

3. Dubai Safari Park – Closes on May 31, 2024

Dubai Safari Park

Dubai Safari Park, a sprawling 119-hectare site housing approximately 3,000 animals, is set to conclude its 2023-2024 season soon after its grand opening in October 2023. Visitors are advised to book their tickets before May 31, 2024, as per the park’s official website.

The park is meticulously divided into various enclosures, each representing wildlife from different corners of the globe. Guests can marvel at the majestic African lion, graceful Arabian Oryx, elusive Sand Gazelle, swift cheetahs, playful hippos, towering giraffes, elegant impalas, gentle elephants, and striking zebras during their visit.

Tickets:

There are various packages offered by Dubai Safari Park, based on what the visitors would like to do. The normal individual tickets start from:
– Dh50 for adults
– Dh20 for children from the ages of three to 12 years old.

Timings – from 10 am to 6 pm during the Eid Al Fitr holidays.

Location – The Dubai Safari Park is in the Al Warqa 4 district, off E44 (Ras Al Khor Road). If you want to take public transportation, you can take the bus route F10 from Rashidiya Bus Station.
