The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has broken ground on DIFC Square, a landmark development and commercial project consisting of three interconnected buildings. It will include offices and retail units, significantly increasing the Centre’s real estate offerings while meeting the growing demand for Grade A offices in the heart of Dubai’s business district.

DIFC Square has seen strong tenant demand, owing to growth in both wealth and asset management and the insurance industry, highlighting the project’s strategic appeal and prime location, as well as the strong interest and growing demand for DIFC’s premium urban commercial real estate.
The project’s strategic location in DIFC allows for easy access to Downtown Dubai, Dubai International Airport, Sheikh Zayed Road, and other key business and leisure destinations.
DIFC Square’s future tenants and talent will benefit from its proximity to the Centre’s most sought-after destinations, such as Gate Village for fine dining, lifestyle, arts and culture, and Gate Avenue’s extensive range of restaurants, gyms, and retail facilities.
DIFC Square will have 600,000 square feet of office space and 17,200 square feet of retail space, including a carefully curated mix of shops and food and beverage outlets.
With the enabling and foundation work well underway, DIFC Square construction is being accelerated to meet the scheduled handover date of Q1 2026. The three buildings have 8, 10, and 13 floors, one basement, and three podiums, and are 58, 68, and 81 metres tall.
